Paul Garrett, Cinematographer


Cinematographer Paul Garrett is an award-winning video producer and internationally published wildlife photographer. He has over 25 years of experience in video and film, including 9 years at MGM/UA and Universal Pictures. Paul grew up with a deep respect for nature and a great love of traveling. Working with Brooks Fahy, Paul has filmed and co-produced all our documentaries, including EXPOSED: USDA’s Secret War on Wildlife, which won Best Wildlife Activism at the 2014 Wildlife Conservation Film Festival and Best Short Film at the 2015 Animal Film Festival.

Sally Mackler, Senior Native Carnivore Advocate


A long-time defender of wildlife, our Senior Native Carnivore Advocate, Sally Mackler, founded San Diego Animal Advocates and the San Diego Feral Cat Coalition. Since moving to Oregon in 1993, she has served on our board of directors, as well as the boards of S. Oregon Humane Society, Friends of the Animal Shelter, and the Oregon Chapter of the Sierra Club. In addition to providing us with expertise on predator issues, Sally currently directs Spay Neuter Your Pet.

Pam Round, Communications Director


An ardent animal lover and gardener, our Communications Director, Pam Round, has over 25 years of experience writing and designing educational and marketing materials for organizations large and small. Pam created and maintains our website and manages our Facebook and Twitter pages. She also designs and writes our newsletters, and provides strategic input on our expanding outreach campaigns. Rumor has it she is a cat whisperer.

Stephanie Taylor, Wolf Policy Advisor


Our newest team member, Stephanie Taylor, is a wildlife enthusiast with a degree in ecological sciences and wildlife conservation. A natural fit as our Wolf Policy Advisor, Stephanie has focused on protecting the wolves of the Pacific Northwest since 2010, specializing in policy issues in Oregon. She also works to protect habitat for native and endangered species as Field Organizer for the Portland Audubon Society and can frequently be found frolicking in old growth forests.
